Well, Ed, I feel like I know you as a meticulous person dedicated to excellence or you would not have pumped life back into Yaniro.

I'm learning from looking at your presentations, which never fail to amaze.

You should leave the bio, in my opinion, but that is your choice.

We all benefit from your example, bud.

Wish like hell I'd have known Bob K, the journeyman's journeyman.

You are much like him in your dedication to the useless endeavor we all love.

Seriously.

amazing shot Hobblie

well Mouse, thank you for your generous words...Bob and I were polar opposites on some issues...
he wanted his opinion enforced by government, i wanted to do good for the desert...
and stay far away from what i knew would happen if he involved the park service, blu, monument staff, it went federal. so i was really frustrated that , at least in my opinion, he put his ego, ahead of what was good for the monument, or access in general.

if you want a flavor for my gear background.. look at the dyneema fabric "thread..."

The best Man i know in Climbing, is Tom Frost, no question.

"Breedlove has a point... Is Tufa... rock?" Calcium carbinate like at Mono lake. But I have also heard limestone formations called that too. I think it has to do with the process more than the composition.

Ed your post of Dec 25 is that the Tufas out by Trona?
