Can't take down the Christmas decorations because no plastic tubs. But we own too many plastic tubs already. I bought the right kind but then when I was up in Idaho one of my employees bought all the wrong kind. But the wrong kind are the right kind for the holiday decorations but they are filled with the stuff in the warehouse so I have to take the stuff out of the wrong tubs and put it in the right tubs so I can bring the wrong tubs home where they are right for the decorations.

And I have to do it before my wife gives up and goes and buys even more tubs.

Me too- for some reason, stackable, geometric hording doesn't feel like hording at all.

lots of rumors for a long time, but can you send me the link where this is definitive, "this week"

Don, the geeks at Nikonians are all over this. It is hard to imagine how they will make the D810 significantly better which is why grabbing one on sale might be a good move.* Apparently Nikon has a press conference scheduled this week. YMMV ;-)

If yer not a 'Nikonian' you wouldn't be able to read a link. :-/

*I got mine for way cheap plus they threw in the nice battery grip!

I am a Nikonian and have followed the rumors for some time. It sounded like you had something definitive. I'm a long time D800E shooter and skipped the D810. The replacement will need to be something really special to upgrade. In particular, it will need to have better high ISO capability - the D800E is rated higher than the D810 by DXO marks. I teach nightscape photography for Joshua Tree National Park, so that's important for me.

btw - I just responded to your comment on my picture in the landscape forum

I am soooooo overjoyed at this thread that I can't even think of one to post. If we all took ourselves just a tad less seriously I'm willing to wager that universal energy would shift - and this thread just may have started that shift. Cheers all.

In 2015, US Senator Bob Menendez (NJ) was indicted for bribery. He accepted money to his campaign and other, non-reported funds and services. A Doctor Melgen gave Menendez these funds to influence the Senator to use his "authority as a US Senator to promote Melgen's personal and business interests".

How does this differ from 23 GOP US Senators, including Cory Gardner (CO), receiving large sums of money from Betsy DeVos and family, while these senators were to vote on her confirmation to the Department of Education?

Cory Gardner's campaign, according to Huffington Post 2/7/2017, recieved $49,800. Would a gift of this amount influence an average person's attitudes toward the gift-giver? You bet. Would it influence a Senator to vote to confirm Betsy DeVos, who Sen. Franken has described as "the most unqualified Cabinet nominee I have ever encountered".

The greatest consolation for Sen. Gardner's Colorado constituents is that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) got $98,300 from DeVos and family. I guess that makes Sen. Gardner only 51% as "bought" by DeVos.

If this sounds like democracy in action, ok.

If this sounds like bribery, let's get busy.[/quote]

Brave- you on the wrong thread?

I was just getting ready to complain about being out of roasted pine nuts and now that seems so trivial.
