It is simply a must have item for any wall or anywhere you are out climbing under the hot sun.

I went on my first multi-day rafting trip last week. I didn't know we had to wear helmets when we used their kayaks, and I totally wish I had Da Brim with me for that.

Da Brim should be mandatory for river rafting trips.

I'm still messed up on my picture uploading and trip report workflow, but I've used Da Brim a lot in the last year and feel dumb that I didn't get one sooner. I've forgotten to bring it on a few trips, and missed it a lot. It's become a standard fixture in my climbing rack. I really should get some pictures up here even if I don't get my regular trip report system back online.

We have a Da Brim sighting campers! We were up on Mt Baldy yesterday,
unfortunately while the annual run was on, and saw this SAR dude sitting
about half way up the trail. He was fully prepared to leap into action
and save somebody. It was 75 degrees and he had on his gaiters, day-glo
rain coat and, most importantly, his helmet avec Da Brim!

Well I hate to be the one to resurrect this stoopid thread, but, had Geoffrey Farrar, 69, of Arlington had the good foresight to be wearing the

DA Brim Helmut

he very well could still be with us today.

Thank Gawd this thread is back. ST desperately needs this kind of levity as we hash our way through Malaysian airliner conspiracists, Communist conspiracists, and Christian conspiracists. TFPU!

I got one, but the damn thing is felt!

As EE might say: "way choad in the heat, Dude!"

Wish I had Da Brim too, Jay...is it OK to have thread regret?

Nut Again showed me the righteous and true path of Melanoma avoidance and corporate sponsorship.

I have been humbled, and am thinking about a pink one?
