Climbed Nutcracker yesterday with my mom. She felt the mantle crux was insecure and wouldn't let me climb it. So we added three bolts and it is all good now!

Just wait until you see the gondola I'll be building on it. Werner said he'd help.

Weren't you just a teeny bit embarrassed when that grey-haired gentleman soloed the thing right afterwards?

It was Royal you know, muttering under his breath the whole time.

Kids these days...If your mom hadn't been there you would have gotten dressed down to your toenails punk.

It's about time!
That's a Way Scary move!

You could have let your MOM give you a BOOST over the mantle,
Moose. There would have been nothing to be ashamed of.

Is it true that the Sleds team has been training there, and that the base has been converted to a yak enclosure?

Three bolts are too many. You should have power drilled and placed just one bolt that you could clip over your head just before launching into the improbable mantle. That's safe enough for the insurance adjustors.

Why Yes MH! that was a breif stop on the training schedule. I was told Krakuaer came up with a plan to blame the yak poop on the bears but i havent been brought up to speed on the remnants issue!

Sorry I made it confusing. I did the drilling, my mom bolting. We had an argument about the second bolt placement, but I should have known better, she is always right, so we placed the second bolt on the top of the mantle. It just make sense to just grab it and pull, instead of this scary mantle move. Thank you Mommy, you know how to crack nuts!
