And if u got Russ Courtnall u gotta add his brother Geoff Courtnall. If be careful with the hockey though. That list could get huge:

Don't forget bobby hull's traitor son Brett who chose to play for the us Olympic hockey team in salt lake only to get a silver medal @ the hands of the Canadian team.

A few other hockey players

Guy lafleur

Scott & Rob niedermayer

Georges Vezina (an award in his honor given to the best goalie in the NHL every year)

Brian (Bryan?) Trottier

Paul Coffey

Mark Messier

Mark Recchi (from my hometown- was my coach in hockey camp when I was a kid!)

Art Ross (another annual award is handed out in his honour -can't remember what for?? Sportsmanship?)

Grant Fuhr (did a bunch of blow & stopped a bunch of shots, this enabling Gretzky & the mid 80s oilers to become one of the greatest hockey legacies ever)

I could go on but I'm not much of a hockey guy, just played a bit when I was a kid :-)

Oh & Eric Lindros too, even though he never amounted to much he was pretty famous & had one of the best amateur careers in history.

Not hockey, but what about this little Canadian #

Nelson Mandella

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honorary_Canadian_citizenship

very nearly granted unanimously in the house of commons..... the one hold out was the infamous right wing basket case Rob Anders, who insists to this day that Nelson Mandella has always been a El Qaida sleeper cell.

How about a new catagory?

Infamous Canadians!

I nominate Rob Anders to start things off....

Hey Marlow - would you consider opening a category to include life forms that make us ashamed to admit that we are Canadians? Rob Ford, of course, but pride of place should be offered to the sociopathic dung beetle who masquerades as our "Prime Minister" - pudgy Stevie Harper.

Of course it's no disgrace to be pudgy, but an ideological fanatic who variously labels those who do not share his twisted beliefs as "enemies of the state", "pedophiles", "supporters of the Taliban" and so on has earned the justifiable contempt of the 60% of Canadians who DIDN'T vote for him and the parade of hyenas who share his values.

My first choice would be that psychotic foaming at the mouth Joseph Goebbels protege, Ezra Levant

Hey Marlow - here's another addition to the Canadian Hall of Shame: this prick's name is Gordon Campbell, a former Premier of the Province of British Columbia who not only has the integrity of a sewer rat, but also an alarming physical resemblance to one.

This cheap hustler was elected to office after, among other things, vehemently insisting that he would not sell a Provincially owned railroad, and that he would refuse to impose a controversial Federal tax upon the citizens of B.C. Needless to say, these promises were lies. In addition, while still in office, he was over in Maui getting drunk with one of his rich buddies when he decided to drive back to his own accommodations in the middle of the night. Fortunately, the Maui cops got him before he managed to plow his car into a bunch of widows and orphans, or worse. His mug shot made the front page, along with his conviction for impaired driving. But there's more.

We segue to what passes for justice in British Columbia these days - he was actually awarded a MEDAL called "The Order of British Columbia", which once was bestowed exclusively upon non-criminals.

As if this is not enough to make anyone with a sense of decency gag, our crypto-Fascist Prime Minister (Stevie Harper)who claims to be outraged by criminal behaviour in any form... appointed Gordie to the office of High Commissioner to London, arguably the most prestigious position in the Canadian diplomatic world.
