Our last unsolved Mysteries:
#1

#2

#3
OK JayBra: when I moved #3, I saw the Tag. Not scenic Cruise.

The step right and underclingy thing coming up in #2 kind of reminds me of After 7 but it's not. No clue.

Alas, Ain't Matterhorn's last pitch a real Peach!
Clue to #2: it's in Colorado and it's name has a Catholic Theme...
(And it is not in Penitente...)

Golsen's photo in the previous post was OBVIOUSLY the N face of Angel's Landing. Anyone who couldn't recognize the Becky route on the GWT in the background doesn't know crapola about desert walls.

Tar's third photo looks like too good rock for the Black.
Looking at the water distance/size, no road makes me guess South St Vrain?

Hmmm,
Ron, you weren't kidding?
Funny guy anyhow, 'specially when you want to be, for sure.
And nice catch on the Rosy Cruci-fiction etymology.
#3: not my post, but it is actually in the Black...

Well, Here's Just a Naked Route:
Follows the neato 5.7 crack dead center, then tops out as well.

That BC crag would be Amon Rudh up the Eldred near Campbell River. Haven't been there yet, but I've been thinking about it for a couple years now. Might be a family trip up the Sunshine Coast in the offing this summer, at least get to do a little bouldering and maybe some slab paddling on Psyche Slab.

Hardman: Last Pitch of Matterhorn Peak, out of Bridgeport.

OFF: 'looks like more weathered granite, so I see the west crack try. Sort of like Lunatic Fringe, but the rock is rough.

Yes Vawter, Watkins.
(you sound so certain, perhaps I don't need to confirm).

O'kelly's Backwards? It is, if you've done it, an easy ID, but it does look odd. When we were punks,(well still kinda punky), we were lucky enough to do the O'kelley crack with Don(?) O'kelley. He was a stout feller. One of the Old JT guidebooks, I think the orange Wolf version, had a great picture of that stoic hardman hanging from the climb from wraps of 1" tubular around his waist.

The Black Canyon Pic is not Choss Logan. Not the Cruise.
(Again, not my post either, but when I started the round 2 thread I saw the ID Tag)

Tar,
it really didn't look like the Black to me. Not enough water and the rock looked too good.
My last time there I got halfway up a new route when the crack went seven inches, flared, and lined with like thick rock potato chips.

Epic with a capital pic.

Anybody who wants it can have it. I think Jimmy Newbwerry had the right idea as a high school student chucking cherry bombs down there. Now THAT sounds fun!

And its sort of the shared Top Out Area?
