Oooohhhhh Ahhhhh what's this? That my dear friends is a copy of the limited print run of "15 Climbs in Sedona That Don't Suck" by Greg Opland.

The guide was published in 2011 has been previously available to only the closest friends of the author and best climbers in the West (cough). Now, for this limited time YOU too could have your own SIGNED edition of this fantastic guidebook.

The guide features some of the best climbs in Sedona (by the Author's account) along with a brief introduction, history of Sedona Climbing and general information for vistiting the area. These 136 pages of photos, descriptions, detailed maps and quality topos could all be yours.

Never visited Sedona or got overwhelmed by the amount of routes and lack of good information? This is YOUR CHANCE to get in on the fun and help a good cause at the same time.

All proceeds will benefit the Todd Gordon Family Fundraiser. These guides have been personally donated by Greg Opland aka Steelmonkey and signed by the author. (pssst get over here Greg!)

Addional copies will be available for Silent Auction April 21, 2012 at the Fundraiser in Joshua Tree. Can't make it but want a chance to own one? Online Auction of 1 Copy starts tonight - Minimum bid $25 buyer to pick up in J-Tree or pay shipping.

Online Auction ends February 21, 2012 11:59:59

Auctioneer reserves the right to provide additional copies to qualified bidders

Oh schit, Fonda's WORKING! Worse yet on something electrical, Todd yer phones might be out, but when Fonda's done you might need to turn on the light switch to make a phone call, or flush the toilet to turn on the lights!
Fonda when can I come out and fix the damn post to yer gate so the low life's(like me) don't have free reigns to the property?
Peace

Christ. Let me deal with one disaster at a time. We'll get to that later. Hell, I've got my own roof problems to deal with up here.

Like a stinkin' wind tunnel today. No climb.
Good luck with the power Robert.

Sedona book above contains info on 15 nice, low scare, moderate routes between 5.7 and 5.10 that offer a good intro to climbing in Sedona. Routes like The Mace, Dr. Rubos, Oak Creek Spire, Coyote Tower, and the Earth Angel. Hope you like it.

We (reluctantly) had to return our borrowed copy of Sedona Climbs that Don't Suck so I'm definitely down for the auction on that particular gem.

I received some killer guides from Mr. Supertopo, Chris McNamara. Yes, they are the state of the art climbing guides. All of these books are personally autographed by Chris himself and yes he has done over 70 El Cap routes.

Including:

2-Tuolumne Bouldering
Northern California Bouldering
Tuolumne Free Climbs
2-Yosemite Sport Climbs and Top Ropes
Yosemite Valley Bouldering
2-Yosemite Big Walls

I had to look through the Big Wall book immediately and whoa, am I impressed. What a great book with history, classic photos and uber-topos.
Dude, these books are beautiful.

Contact me if you are interested and the ones I have left (if any) will make their way to Susan's silent auction and raffle.

I am not sure how we are supposed to be doing this Silent Auction thing. Or can we bring items to the fundariser party when it happens? Can somebody point me to the instruction manual, or send me a note or something?

Reason is that I would like to donate 2 ClimbAddict Chalkbags. Here is an example of a few available, but either the person will be able to choose from the available ones at time, or else I will pick two to drop to the party(they may or may not be the ones shown here):

Looking forward to seeing you guys. I need to get some more materials together. I'll speak with the owner. It's the kind of project we can blow out in a weekend if we have our sh#t together. That means I gotta get my sh#t together!

I'll be starting in on the electrical, phone, and cable for the sat t.v. for Todd on either monday or tuesday.

Happie, thank you very much for the donation of your cool chalk bags. Swing them by anytime. I'll mark you down for two, bring them by now or whenever, don't make a special trip just to drop them off. I won't hit panic mode until mid-March.

Thanks!

Happi, we sell lots of cool chalk bags made by the "big guys" at the store I work at. Yours are every bit as good or better. Just a suggestion folks, bidding on Happi's super kool stuff.....start the bidding at 15.99 to 19.95. They are well done.

(as is Todd's roof....hehehe.)

OBTW I read the Flanders Fundraiser Thread from start to finish to get ideas. But am now wondering why we don't have more sign ups at this point for the Todd Fest. As MANY have pointed out, without Todd we would not have had the parties we have So enjoyed.

Zuppppp Tacoland? All over the U.S. lets sign up and take yo vacation April 21. Meet the koolest people that ever climbed. :D Just a suggestion.
Ciao and Cheers, lynnie

One of the coolest guidebooks ever written......15 MUST DO climbs in Sedona.....this book basically guides my life;.....I hang my head in SHAME that I have only done 9 of the 15 climbs that do not suck in Sedona;...BUT...you can bet that it's just a matter of time until I have completed the list.....oh yes;...it will be completed......and.....I just can't realistically seeing anyone NOT wanting to do these climbs;...it's sort of a no-brainer......pretty much mandatory climbing for anyone who calls themself a climber....

Even my own son hides his face in shame because his dad has only done 9 of the 15 climbs in Sedona that don't suck.......it's a family shame and guilt.....as bad as catholic guilt....it really is...
