Roy,

You must be kidding. That Turnout wearing sack of poo can
barely stand up. We keep proping him up, but he keeps sliding
back down. Here he is prior to a recent tube feeding and diaper
change.

Howard is pointing out the meals on wheels truck.

Bolton, That was Ace Reportage!
I recall Wazoo gets Feisty,
Watcha' Yo' Back, Bra!

'K: a bit of thread rip from the "Rally Driving Appreciation", this time with a pic-
Mussy and I used to do these LA to JTree road trips, leaving late at night, following his stints as a machinist. We often stopped for pie and coffee. After a while, one winter, things got streched out and a bit out of hand. We'd goof around longer getting ready, stop for pie and coffee closer and closer to home and also multiple times along the way.

We pretty much just listened to music, talked uprorious sh#t about our friends, laughed buckets.

One Friday Night, we got set into this psychedelic headspace, left well after midnight, stopped for pie and coffee within the first 20 minutes and got so distracted we had to bivi at a rest stop along highway 10.

Mussy always slepped late, I was easily deterred and on this particular escapade we reached the Hidden Valley campground at about 6pm on Saturday. People thought (they knew)we were nuts. Its only a 2 hour drive from LA to Josh.

I think the problem is that vehicle doesn't have enough sunglasses to keep everyone safe.

bvb-- Man, I guess NPS rangers really are wild (and normal like people) after hours. I would have never guessed that ;-)

Although, as evidence shows a few are wild and let their hair down while on the clock. Was that an official "Service" photo for public viewing? Where can I get a box of these Wheaties? Must come with the label: "Warning: May cause fits of unruly and degenerate behaviour! We warned you."

LOL

Edit: cereal with whiskey, haven't tried that yet.

More Gorge shots please. Steep! Slick! and, uh, dirty. But it cleans up nice in those black and whites. Completely disguises the pig-pen effect. Get Doug involved. Maybe another thread is in order. SD Old School.

This thread's getting pretty long. IMHO you need to branch to a new one that starts with another good shot of Shelley...

I'm still in re-entry mode from the trip to Azidrona, trying to stuff my business into a bite sized package. Have you ever noticed that cell phones suck? I can't believe I was negotiating with an egomaniacal Roads & Transportation flack while riding the chairlift in Flagstaff.

I'm already sorta involved with this end of the current episode, seeing as how that pic of BVB following Sympathy at Mission Gorge during the FA is outta my trove. I'll see about firing up the scanner and getting some spew flinging.

For now, here's a vintage shot of BVB: is he going up or coming down?
