TGT: Re your comment

Uh,

The point is Billary Spearheaded the effort to destroy the lives of the ones allegedly doing the sucking.
Well, yes----I suppose you have a point there.

Why would a conservative Republican want to vote for a (liberal-democrat) woman who tried to destroy the life of a woman who allegedly sucked her husband's dick?

Of course you would also be livid with rage, if Hillary had asked Monica to work with her as an intern------thus likely pointing to a lesbian relationship between the two.

Is it possible that you don't like Hillary Clinton, her life, and/or her politics?

You might think Jesus would bake a cake for a gay wedding. I think you are wrong because I don’t Christ would collaborate in sin.

Thanks for the response Coz
I just had to ask so we could get a better read on you,
after you sided with Chef, I was a little worried since he staked his claim on being an anti-science blow hard and turned the Climate Change thread into a total sh#t fest.

I get the finest of innuendo, believe me.
But I still don't get what your total message is, that Obama is being run by a higher force??

Please elaborate, are they a secret society, or just a couple of rich folks? Or are the Jews?
What?

I agree that Obama is pulled by forces of big money (conservatives) and all Presidents will give in to bad stuff, but it doesn't really go any farther than that.
But you get rid of the majority of conservatives in Congress, and the pressure will be changed for the better.

You know I don't give a f*#k what you believe, but I can tell one thing, Bluering and bookworm base their whole lives on believing the exact opposite of the truth when it comes to gays, climate change, evolution and how our Gov. should be run.

That is where the trouble lies.

Don't like food stamps? Then raise minimum wage

Tina Dupuy:
Feb. 21, 2014

Say you’re philosophically opposed to food stamps. Let’s say you feel better about yourself by calling those who’ve hit hard times freeloading parasites. Suppose the very idea someone somewhere may be cheating the system is enough for you to support snatching all subsidized sandwiches out of the hands of your fellow Americans. Imagine that right in the middle of the Great Recession you think feeding the hungry is actually hurting the poor and discouraging them from working. Let’s pretend — hypothetically — the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program is one of the government programs you’d most like to see cut or dissolved altogether. Let’s suppose you’re the kind of person who’s disgusted by the whole thing. “Get a job!” you mutter at the TV when the food stamp issue is broadcast into your home.

Then you should be for raising the minimum wage!

There are 46.2 million impoverished citizens in this country. That’s more than the populations of Tunisia, Greece, Portugal, Switzerland and Ireland combined. Of these 46.2 million, about 10.4 million are the working poor. The others are largely elderly, disabled or children.

The most recent data tells us 10.4 million Americans work and yet can’t feed themselves or their families. Why? Because working doesn’t work. Working isn’t the solution to hunger because work doesn’t pay enough to buy food and shelter. Raising the minimum wage to the proposed $10.10 an hour would mean a person with a full time job and one dependent child would no longer meet the requirements for food stamp eligibility. Working could effectively get people out of poverty: A novel concept.

Currently the ideologically pure right wing thinks food stamps are a disincentive to work and a minimum wage raise will kill jobs. Their hope is to keep wages so low you can’t live on them while also cutting food stamps. It’s where philosophy shatters on the frayed edge of facts on the ground. It’s not realistic — it’s just Republican.

The right wing has shed its once storied pragmatism for a new outraged ostrich-with-its-head-in-the-ground approach to public policy. They’re against abortion and family planning; against the national debt and for tax cuts; against Obamacare and against socialized medicine (google it). So, when you ask a Republican lawmaker what their ideas are to fix pressing issues Americans face every day they just squawk, “Benghazi!” “Lawless!” and hide their head back in their proverbial burrow.

Yesterday I hung out with a friend of mine who was able to get health insurance that was previously unattainable because of some pre-existing conditions he has.

So who are you going to vote for Pyro?
Rand Paul?
so he can repeal Social Security and Medicare, and sell off Stoney to the highest bidder?
Since he hates the Gov. doing any thing socialized, and PUBLIC PARKS are Socialism!

Is that what you want?
What will you do when your 65?

Boy some of these people are stupid.
They are so duped by the constant hate campaign against the Dems, they don't even know what they are voting for instead.
