Forget about the political opinionated TV programs. If your really concerned about whats really going on, watch what the politicians do, not what they say. Watch congressional proceedings, read how they vote, watch telecast House and Senate investigations and hearings.

Get your info from the source, then try to tell me there's no difference between the two parties.

You do all that research and come up with that? There's no difference?

Wow. So, they have the same platform on:

Immigration? (no)
Gay marriage? (no)
Gun reform? (no)
Education? (no)
Health care? (no)
Minimum wage? (no)
Climate change? (no)
Energy? (no)
Abortion? (no)
Campaign finance reform? (no)

What has Congress done to change the laws on any of those issues, besides healthcare?

Seriously johnboy, I would be very interested to see what particular events have transpired which leads you to believe that both parties (and therefore implicitly ALL politicians, Obama and every single democrat and hard-working and honest republican included) are the same vile sh#t. Seriously, apparently you have done the research. Post it up!

They don't have to change anything at all. CLEARLY they are happy with the status quo and want nothing to change. Seriously Sketch, DUIUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!111111111

You know there's a Republican-controlled Congress that has their hands tied by the tea party, right? That ANY Republican seen working with Democrat's in ANY way would be seen as treasonous by the tea party - you know this, right?

They live in fear of losing their seats to a tea party extremist. That's the state of the nation thanks to the far-right - and Fox.

Nice strawman. The same 2 year Congressional period that passed the healthcare law you referred to passed a lot of other laws on a lot of other issues including financial reform, the establishment of the Consumer Protection Bureau, the repeal of DADT, the fair pay act and student aid. Congress being an unproductive pile of garbage started after the 2010 midterms. If Democrats had bothered voting in 2010 we'd have a higher minimum wage, immigration reform and a lot of other stuff as well.

There's an election every 2 years. Vote.

Sketch, you are obviously well informed and a smart guy

surely you understand that the Democratic controlled Senate has already passed a number of issues on your list, and sent the legislation over to the Republican House where John Bhoener has refused to even allow a full vote, dead on arrival

since you know all those dynamics, explain where exactly the "blame" then lies

any reasonable person would conclude without a second's hesitation, with the Republican House

why is it not then "fair' or proper to yes, lay blame exactly where it belongs?

Since those issues are important to you, why are you not voting for Democrats?

since they are the ones passing the legislation and the Repubs blocking its passage?

I said in my post, " then try to tell me there's no difference".

You can't tell me there is no difference after actually seeing how these guys really work, there is a HUGE difference in parties.

edit,
I didn't think it was that easy to misread guys.

Norton writes:

"a true scandal would be like Nixon ordering secret bugging devices installed at Watergate
I don't see how any those topics amount to illegal activity or lying by President Obama"

From the Richard Nixon Impeachment Articles:

"He has, acting personally and through his subordinates and agents, endeavoured to obtain from the Internal Revenue Service, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, confidential information contained in income tax returns for purposed not authorized by law, and to cause, in violation of the constitutional rights of citizens, income tax audits or other income tax investigations to be intitiated or conducted in a discriminatory manner."

http://watergate.info/impeachment/articles-of-impeachment

Now you can see how it's a lot like Nixon. I believe the word is "Nixonesque".

Johnboy, what you wrote was legitimately unclear, as it could be read to be opining that either the two parties are or are not the same, depending on the reader. It seriously implies nothing to think you meant either in particular. Thank you for clarifying, and sorry for jumping you :).

Sketch, We don't know your real views on much. You purposefully keep us in the dark and then feign butt-hurt when we read into your views based on the little and purposefully misleading information you provide. In other words, your a pure troll, who even feigns butt-hurt when called one. It's actually kind of amusing, am I'm still not fooled.

However, based on the back-pedaling, doubling down on stupidity nature of your trolls, they are CLEARLY intended to convey at the very least a closet republican.

Such simple-minded folk.
