Thanks to all of you for your thoughts and virtual gifts. The fruit did make my mouth water. :)
You guys are the best! When life was rough, you guys were the best. Now that things are smoother, you are still the best.
And Dogfather, for my birthday challenge, I tried to eat 47 pieces of sushi - one for each year. I didn't make it. :) It was fun trying though.
BrassNuts took me to a favorite restaurant (Sushi Zanmai) where I was surprised to see favorite folks (a real surprise!) Prod, Christa, Bob Rotert, SteveW and some co-workers. I was shocked and really psyched. It was a great way to spend the end of my birffday.
I should take a photo of some of the fine gifts and cards. We laughed quite hard about them. One card said "YOU'RE REALLY PRETTY.........f*#king old." Awesome! :) Heh heh. Steve W's gift was especially hilarious - a small statue of a heart for my desk at the university. You probably had to be there to get it. :)
Let me also say Happy Birthday to Fritz! I think we share the birthdate in common. (Sorry I'm late). :)
