I'm another unknown John, but Happy Birthday! I remember seeing you in a film about Beginning Rock Climbing in the mid 80's, although I can't recall when the film was made... That film gave me some of my first exposure to knots, simple anchors, and your unique brand of comedy centered around climbing... I gotta try and find that again, you made me laugh more than once as you passed along the info...
Aw shucks.. I guess that film was in the 90's... Well, they say the memory is first to go...

Happy Happy! You have put out some interesting reads, but foremost I remember your your article of traversing Borneo with Dwight Brooks. That was a riveting read.
