I don't spend enough time on the Eastside to know the names of the peaks.
A little help would be nice.
Mouse, regarding your photos on the previous page from November 15th...
First photo is Basin Mountain, with the SE flank of Mount Tom on the right, taken from a few miles NW of Bishop, from maybe somewhere around the 395 turnoff to Rovana.
Second photo, from left to right, Mount Bradley, Independence Peak, and University Peak, taken from a couple miles north of Independence on 395.
Third photo, from left to right, Mount Tinemaha, Split Mountain, Birch Mountain, ridge, The Thumb, ridge and hills in foreground hiding Middle Palisade and Norman Clyde Peak, and Mount Sill in the far distance, as seen from Big Pine.
