It's easy to make fun of noobs, and it wasn't that long ago that Weld_It showed up here as a noob. So a lot of you said mean things about him, like he should go to rc.noob, or that he wasn't very good at climbing, and stuff like that.

I wondered a bit myself. I mean, who is this guy who thinks that just because he can do welding he can make climbing equipment and even be a good climber. But he's going to Kay2 and maybe Uli Biahole, so who's the noob now, eh? Like how many of you hosers ever climbed Uli Biahole?

Of course some of you still think he's not really all that rad and that he's making stuff up just for the internets, but I got to spend some time with him, and found out that he's been inventing a lot of stuff for climbing and welding it up in his mother's shop. He also let me take some pictures, so you'll see he's not a hot air poser like you thought.

He made this thing for going into manly holes

This is Weld_It himself, in a really serious rescue

And then one time some guys wanted to use it up high on a tower type thing.

Pretty soon some Mountain Climbers found out, and asked for help in big rescues.

After that he built some way more serious rescue machinery

But he didn't just build this ultra rescue gear, he also did climbing. He only started last year, but check out some of this rad sh#t

Check out the drill he made for placing 4-inch diameter bolts -- rad, but safe.

It's really obvious that welding is all manly. But he isn't afraid to do stuff that is not manly. Like sewing.

But even though he's really great at climbing, he's still humble. I wanted to get a good picture of him for this report, but he wouldn't let me. But I got this one when he wasn't looking on a practice climb for Kay2 and Ole Biahole.

Anyway, I hope you understand now that he's really real, not just some noob with a internet connection, and that you all stop being mean to him.
