the UN has outlived it's relevance. It was a noble notion, but, like I said...

Jeeez guys......you're trying to use logic, evidence and all of that other liberal mumbo jumbo- won't work with people who use faith and some good ole Bush gut feel to form their views. That, or they get their "facts" from the talking heads on Fox.

Yes, the UN has outlived their irrelevance.

I demand that they take a larger roll in the world.

Are you happy now?

(Now you take all of your ironic slander back...?)

Blue now states: "the UN has outlived it's relevance."

all this subtext... leaves a regular guy like me out in the cold... unless I really know what the f*#k I'm talking about and others (not naming names) don't!!!!

Blue, just stick to quoting becky, she'll do you some good and make you lots of friends, sort of more of the same for guys like you.

So whats your solution Blue? Do away with the UN, then what? What would you do about women's rights worldwide? What would you do about libya?

I don't think you realize the incompetance and the negligance of their charter?

Libya, human rights?

Iran, women's right's?

Are you people serious? Is the UN?"

Come on blue... you don't give a sh#t about human rights anywhere, specially in Libya, didn't you just want to turn the place into a glass parking lot some years ago?

Come on Blue.. You don't care about women's rights anywhere, specially in Iran...

You seem to be able to ask a lot of questions, but of an answer can we give to a guy who is asking this question (just to ask the question, in the manner you have asked it) means you know nothing about what they in the world.

Yes at time it may seem ineffective and as backward as you seem at times, but the I think what we in the US hear about the UN is greatly skewed one way or the other depending on the amount of crooked people are in the White House (after all, while Busche / Chinbally was in office, we could trust the UN for nothing. we had to do it with the taxpayers of the US's money, and you went right along with it, cheering your friends and fellow Americans to their deaths)

John Moosey: You are asking a direct question that may require some thought.... The answer may take a while... Unless, it's blue who answers.....

true, you never said you were smart (we all just sort of figured that out on our own.

Thanks for permission to doubt what you say.

"We are screwed!!!!"

How so? I mean, in the context that you have provided here "UN" wise.

" We need a new leader who understands the real problems that face us"

can you teach me oh wise and learned one, what exactly are the "real problems" that face us?

what a bunch of shite!!!

Okay;

Sudan and Somalia? What has been done?

Southern Thailand?

The Phillipines?

Nigeria?

Pirates?

Iran and nuke inspections?

Jordan/Syria nuke inspections?

EDIT:

All we seem to get from you are simplistic questions and pronouncements, and a list of countries where you see a problem. Do you know how to make a case for something?

Here is some info you can start with on the UN and Sudan:

In case you dipshits don't follow politics, almost every country I listed has no UN sanction against it in terms of fighting militants. The UN is really cool about food programs and other bullsh#t, but WHY DO THOSE COUNTRIES NEED HELP???? WHY DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE FOR THEM???

It's probably because of rich white guys in the United States of America, right?

I oppose the UN in regard to what the organization has come to represent; corrupt nepotism with no regard to advancing human rights. Bloated social non-diplomacy.

I take it these questions and your diction aren't meant to be an example of your wisdom and learning.

But I did think you were a fan of verbal irony, what with the "outliving irrelevance", etcetera; I guess I over-estimated.

Ka-Flewy writes:(quoting another's good question) Please share some of this hard-won wisdom and learning with us. Lo, these many years I have yet to see any sign of it; you must indeed be a master of concealment. I await enlightenment with bated breath.

Ka-Flewy answers:
WTF are you talking about? Are you a wanna-be retard? Whaaaaa?

(Bleu - they are saying in all these years they have not seen any sign of your stated wisdom and learning, at least, you've never shared it with us. You conceal it so well that no one knows its there. We are waiting)
you are funny, bwahahahahaaahahaahaahaaahah

Then follows all this up with:
In case you dipshits don't follow politics, almost every country I listed has no UN sanction against it in terms of fighting militants. The UN is really cool about food programs and other bullsh#t, but WHY DO THOSE COUNTRIES NEED HELP???? WHY DO WE NEED TO PROVIDE FOR THEM???

hey, ka-flewy.... let me get this straight... you think that the UN should do some part in getting rid of militants (I'll call extremists)......

So, you'd be ok with the UN flying into an area to do what they can to rid the area of militants (i.e. extremists)?

What's to stop them from doing that right here in the good old USA?

This is why your arguments lack the wisdom you say you have...

try this: Make a statement, then read the statement out loud. Then apply that statement to your enemy, then apply it to your friend.

See, this might give you a better understanding of almost everything... You do what you gotta do to get food for your family. If there were no jobs for you, what might you do? to what extent would you go to provide for your family....

Then the questions is.. What if you were in another country (like the ones you mentioned above), what would you do then?

I know it's impossible for you to answer. But if you gave it a moments thought (highly unlikely) you see that you were indeed partly retarded (like me, only in a way worse off way)...

But that kind of thought never gets us anywhere, right? THis kind of world view doesn't make for good trolling, so it has no place in your world.

Stay with the dicks ka-flewy, you're better off.
