That's Lembert Dome taken from the south.
Let me add... there is no more unclimbed rock left in the world.

I did the first ascent of the arete, one of the two best alpine rock routes I've ever done- 2000 ft. of granite pleasure.

I've got dibs on the subtle right facing corner between the two more obvious left facing corners on the right hand peak.
OK, Jim, now where am I going?

Bingo! Cerro Pollone on the right. Crouch and I did the N. Pillar (arete on the right) and called it "A Fine Piece." We also did the tower and named it "Torrecito Tito Carrasco." Tito was a great friend who was killed by rockfall while climbing with my wife while climbing in El Protrero Chico.

A bump for awesomeness.
Jim, how about a small trip report? How many days on the wall or in the area.
Such a beauty.

What's the other?
And for those curious for more detail about this one, here's Gregory Crouch's great account of the first ascent with Donini: http://gregcrouch.com/2013/a-fine-piece-first-ascent
Edit: Hmm, looking at Donini's posting history I may have chosen a bad time for a bump: no activity since the 18th, and on the 16th a mention of shuttling gear and scoping lines. Have fun on the rock, Jim, and I'll bring this up again when I see you around on here. :D

Those were good days on the hill.
Wonder if it's had any more ascents in the last couple of years? Anybody know?
