I am not on it, seems like you are?

And Fattrad?

Suggestion: Focus on presenting solutions to problems. Any child can throw rocks.

Gosh, bookworm, Jon Stewart has been critical of Obama, too...

Does that mean Stewart & Newsweek are unpatriotic? That's what it meant when Shrub was in office (think: Dixiechicks)

See, that's the difference b/w Dems & Repugs: Dems have open minds, and support the idea of critical thinking and discussion...Repugs, on the other hand, just march in lockstep, unquestioning, right into war, and right over a cliff...

In reality, his tax cuts did what they have always done over the past 100 years – they initiated a bubble economy that would let the very rich skim the cream off the top just before the ceiling crashed in on working people.

This is a moronic and ignorant statement. Just how did tax cuts initiate a "Bubble Economy"? The bubbles were produced by low interest rates (and corresponding cheap credit), printed money, and government policies/subsidies. These things are the lifeblood of bubbles. There is no correlation (or even relationship) between taxes and bubbles.

Switzerland has lower taxes than the U.S., they have not had a "bubble economy". Because they do not have loose monetary policy. In fact the Franc is one of the strongest currencies.

I definitely don't see that. Democrats on here think Bush was the Devil incarnate and think Obama is a winged salvation. From a libertarian perspective, I don't see much difference between the two, except that Obama is pushing for more money for social programs.

No, Obama is "pushing" for more tax CUTS for both employers and employees in the jobs bill.

Got a problem with tax cuts?

Yes, they DO add to the deficit, but no one really cares about the deficit or national debt after Bush added five trillion to the national debt by waging stupid wars, passing the Medicare Part D spending giveaway to the drug companies, and cut taxes for the rich.

And NO, i have never, ever, met a fellow Democrat who sings Obama's praises.

In fact, the "professional left" has turned on him, saying he governs from the center RIGHT.

You want a "celebrity" candidate that Republicans GUSH over?

Try John McCain, on Meet the Press 38 times, or go watch em go ga ga over Caribou Barbie.

You Liberals are trying so hard to be stupid, you worry us on the Right.
Why can't you just earn your own way in the world rather than living like leaches, drawing sustenance from our hard work?

Yet another reason the cons-serve-pratives are shear idiots!!!!

If you don't want to watch... here is what is mentioned about Leppert, after Leppert calls for Obama to show disapproval for the Occupy Wall Street crowds:

Was this the same Leppert that was the chairman of the audit committee at Washington Mutual Bank… Wasn't he in that position just before the WaMu tanked losing some 64 Billion in investors money and eventually sold to chase for pennies on the dollar…..?

Didn't the American taxpayer eventually (stupidly) bail out Chase for some 25 Billion?

I believe republicans are really just out of touch with reality

So you think there is a god... invisible spirit friend who can help you out when you call on him to do so.....

No, Bush was not devil, Obama is not salvation.

Bush = Thief
Obama = Somewhat less of a thief surrounded by a republican lynch-mob getting glassy eyed any time he wants to do anything "for the people"....

We all have repubs figured out: They are for more of the same, don't watch business mass rape America's working class, while freely making slaves of those undesirables at the very bottom....

With Dems.... at least the current is a bit slower.

"I don't see much difference between the two, except that Obama is pushing for more money for social programs."

From a how much money do they collect for campaigning standpoint... yes... the same corporations pay for one or the other to get into office... and yes both parties will do/give favors in return... On the whole, that is American Politics.

Go over to the Occupy thread to find out all the rest of what is wrong with America, the economy, and politics in general.

The real difference is in the visceral nature of the Republican hatred of anyone who is not making a million or more a year and contributing to their personal political campaigns.... that's where you'll see the teeth bared.. that's when the claws come out.... hell, you might even see a white hooded character in a repub crowd, there's one fellow whose name reminds me of sadness who might know a few of them...

Hypothesis:

1. FatTrad finally shows the courage of his convictions, and visits Israel and Palestine.
2. He's taken hostage by Hamas.

How much would Hamas pay for the Israelis to take him back? Would Israel want him? After all his efforts to discredit AIPAC, the RNC, and so on, it seems doubtful.
