fattrad: Just when I think you've got a brain, you prove me wrong. This post is nonsense.
obama is doing a fine job of shredding the constitution.
You've no idea what the Constitution (please capitalize Obama and Constitution if you're a Real 'Merican) says about blowing away a known terrorist in the deserts of Yemen.
Because it says very little if anything. Why don't you fund an amicus brief on behalf of Al Awlaki to prove your claim? Perhaps you could include Bin Laden as well?
has there been any proof offered as to his involvement in the actually planning or carrying out of an attack?
Al Awlaki's ongoing terrorist activities are well documented, even in public court cases. He remained, like Bin Laden, a current threat. Unlike the phony Gulf of Tonkin incident or Saddam's "Al Quaida" sponsorship.
If there's anyone liable for trial as a war criminal it is in fact your pal Cheney. I'm not saying he's guilty, I'd like to see it proven one way or the other in court. He's certainly guilty of outing Valerie Plame, a federal crime of some seriousness. Unless you think it's OK for the Vice President to violate Federal Law and put CIA field assets at risk. If you think Scooter Libby did it on his own, I've got a bridge in Arizona to sell you.

Locker,

I have NOT been attempting to give you sh#t.

I just picked your name to put on the top and pasted various LEB's posts below on Dr F's thread, only because you have posted before me, I could have picked anyone, and often put in Bob's or Ken's names and then a Lois quote, all my sarcastic way of showing her rambling victim ethos to post constantly to anyone on the thread to keep attention on herself to promote replies back to her.

I figured YOU would understand and laugh it off.

I must have figured wrong, I like you a lot, would never give you sh#t.

kris...More huge loan gaurantees redeemed on the backs of tomorrows taxpayers to solar energy companies run by cronies and family members of Democrat leadership?

Can you actually provide some proof.

Hi Bob,

Google Pelosi Solar, read more than one of the sources, and draw your own conclusions.

I find it interesting that although one source claims that her brother in law joined the backing firm three years ago, after much of the negotiations to develope the Nevada solar plant were complete, two other sources reveal that it was at exactly that same time that Pelosi began her full court press for Government backing of the loans.

When the gov loses 500 mil on solyndra, and risks 700 mil on this one, where does the money actually end up?

Billy Bob just signed it after months of whining about it.

He didn't have a choice. It wasn't his budget, just like it wasn't Reagan's either. (that one was Tip's)

Kasich wrote it Gingrich pushed it thru.

See US Constitution Article 1 sections 7 and 8.

Correct, TGT.

Congress, and in particular the House sets the budget.

And the Republicans have had the House for 9 months now.

Just look at the whopping cuts to National Public Radio and Planned Parenthood they have enacted.

Let's hope someday they get serious about cutting spending and go after the waste in the military and Medicare, not to mention they should close the Dept of Education and the EPA.

TGT, do you realize how the budget process works?

The president submits the budget. If congress cannot over ride his veto, he calls the shots.

Good for Obama, he can be ruthless, how do you libs feel about that.

Frankly I'm concerned when it's OK to kill an American citizen with no due process or court proceedure, and also feel it's counter-productive when done via an airstrike in a country we aren't at war with. And this guy has only been proven to be involved with speech inciting terrorism, not participating as far as has been demonstrated.

How would ya'll feel if known, actually convicted in Panama in Absentia, terrorist Luis Posdada was killed in the US via a Venezuela hit squad?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Luis_Posada_Carriles

Meaning, it's lame to kill one terrorist if you make 1000 by that act

We made all these concessions to Human Rights to get terrorism but very quickly those laws have been used to track down drug dealers and even track Texas Democratic legislators when they fled the state to avoid quorum for a vote. Every right you give up will be used against you.

LEB is a cacophony of words. She has no intention of informed argumentation. She has no respect for facts, her reasoning is flawed and her conclusions nonsense. She could not have done her job at ST worse if she had been paid by Fox news or the republican party (which I suppose she is not).

There is only one way of getting away from LEB and still staying on ST. Ignore her completely. Do not answer her posts.

Leb wrote: As for NPR, if you are spending too much money relative to what you have then something has to go. It is simply a matter of what that something is. When I made a decision in my own life to work only 4-6 months a year, I had to cut down some of my spending. I could not sustain the level of spending which I had previously when I was working 12 months a year. Some things had to go. I like NPR also just like I enjoy going out to dinner frequently (but do not do so much these days). If I have to choose between cutting NPR or cutting SS, Medicare or the military, I am going to pick NPR. Possibly you are going to make another choice. The fact is that if you don't have enough money for everything you want, then you have to pick and choose.

Could you please put that in term of Twinkies... so Crack Addict and the rest of your crew can understand.
