That place looks amazing. David Roberts has some very good writing about that place.

Anyone have a working link to Mikey's Arrigetch slideshow?

Yes, Peter, he's an amazing photographer with the know-how to get to some amazing places. And unlike many of us who put the camera away when the climbing gets difficult and we are facing impending darkness or bad weather, Mikey pulls out his camera when the going gets tough.
Thanks for the link cool69. I found the gallery prior and was wondering what they climbed. From the photos it looks like one of the Maidens or something in that vicinity based on the photo of three huddled around a map. And maybe Caliban or the Tusk based on another photo with Xanadu and Albatross in the background.

Nice to see the Arrigetch getting some press. I've been there twice. Incredible place. First trip there we floated out the Alatna river to exit after our 3 weeks of climbing. If you ever go don't miss the North Prow of the Maiden. One of the best routes anywhere.

Thanks for the link and the website update, Clint!
Norm, did you get to climb the North Buttress of East Maiden? I spent the better part of two trips waiting for that line to dry out. Those trips were June and July, perhaps a bit too early in the season. The June trip we made an attempt and found iced up chimneys on a direct start. The July trip it rained a bunch and the wall was very wet. We never could figure out where the starting ledge system was that traversed in from the right. It might have been covered in snow.
As you would expect for such a sparsely documented area, there seems to be some confusion about the naming of some of the peaks, particularly the Camel and Maidens. Are there two Maidens and a Camel, or three Maidens, or three Maidens and a Camel? I think two Maidens and a Camel.

We did get up the North Prow on our second trip. We started up a direct line but got shut down. Hiked up the talus a bit to the right and traversed in to a corner system that led to the prow. Both trips were in mid to late July. Lots of bugs and bears on our first trip, none the second. The prow is 20 60m. pitches up to 5.9 or 10-. Really spectacular. To descend we hiked all the way over the Maiden to the Ayagomahalla valley and back around another valley to east. Epic hike. Luckily the blue berries were happening. I think 2 Maidens and one Camel.

Clint I have some slides of our trips there I could scan, as well as a map with peak names I could get you.
