A case and a six'er in 30 hours.
15 beers in 10-12 hours.
Pass out and sleep for 8 hours.
Wake up suck on 15 more for 10-12 hours.
Peace of cake.
That's about 1.5 beers an hour...no biggee.
I did it everyday for over thirty days(injured my back and couldn't climb etc.) And then one morning walking across the street to the market to reload, I realized that my sweat/body odor smelt like alcohol, and I decided I didn't want to be a whino any more. Prior to that morning I thought it was pretty cool that I never had a hangover when I woke up. I would always start the day by chugging one or two.
I realized why I never had a hangover that morning...I was pickled!
That was over thirty years ago when i was about thirty years old. Happy that I came to my senses...liver cancer is a wicked way to die.
Edit: Oh, you said a day(24hrs)...don't know how I came up with thirty hours. Guess that was my routine. Guess I was only drinking about a case a day. Whatever was cheapest, and the occasional forty/malt.

Yes, but it's not a good idea.
In my youth, my friend Ricky and I would bring 3 cases of Lucky Lager to the lake and finish them between us. We liked the bottle cap puzzles. Couldn't wait for the next one.
More like 35 each.
Seemed like a good idea at the time.

Dr. Sprock. Hamms has more alcohol than Guinness.
Hamms 4.7% ABV.
Guinness Draugh 4.1-4.3% ABV.
Bud Light is 4.2% ABV.
I rarely drink light beer.
I like IPAs and Imperials 7-12% ABV.

that being said, i am now on day 12 of abstaining and i havent lost a single god damn pound.

yea I think I've done it once, or come really close. you need to start drinking with breakfast- get a meal not too large but heavily laden in grease, etc- like bacon.
Then continue to drink at a steady pace- I think that it requires an accompanying activity (you gotta stay awake) like boat fishing, beer pong, and the like.
Best advice is to try it with a safety buddy- you each get a 30 pack (or start low at a more conservative 24 cuber') and serve as moral support.
If you really want to bust out the big guns, get a big beer bong that will shwill'em down 4 or 5 at a time. May want to leave those out in the sun to warm up a bit before you freeze your esophagus, however.

Usually when I go to Utar, the beer that I drink is 8-10% and brewed in Utah.
Devastator 8%
I really like the Morman Temple Exploding on the label.
Hop Rising 9%
XIV 10+%
I really like these beers. I doubt that I could do more than 20 in a day though.
I haven't drank in days though and I feel so good that I want a beer!

Hey locker remember that day that I called you and made no sense at all, then didn't remember calling the next day.
I'm sure that I drank close to 20 8-12% beers that day. Woke up without a hangover, wondering what kind of stupid schmit I had done.
I haven't done that since.
Actually I haven't had 20 beers in the past week.

After a good start on 30 beers, I will more than likely lose count and keep drinking. I think I could, and may have already. How about 52 Jager bombs between 3 dudes over the course of a Ohio/Michigan football game, that one, I unfortunately can check off my list of things not to do again.

I don't drink much these days. I can make a six pack last two days if I want to. A lot of days I don't drink at all. I'm more interested in trying beers that I haven't had. Sometimes I pound them, especially if I get a bunch that I haven't had. I know that everyone thinks that I'm a total lush, but I'm not any more. I don't even take beer with me when I go climbing. I never used to do that.
I used to be really bad though!
I rarely get hangovers and I've never puked from drinking, even when I was a kid.
And blah, blah, blah!
Whatever!

Not going for any records, just curious.
I've hammered more than 30 beers in a day so many times that I could never keep track.
When I worked in the Casinos at Tahoe it was a daily thing. I used to wake up in the morning and wonder how I got home.
I've never had a DUI either.

Pretty much eveyone I have ever known who did the 30 pack thing on a steady basis was either a total loser or practicing to be one. If it happens a few times when your young then it's ok. Just part of growing up but if you are doing that every day its not a good thing. And it does not get better with age. Just ran into my old boss a few weeks ago. He was a 30 pack of Bud light a day guy 13 years ago when I worked for him. He now looks 20 years older than he really is and is pretty much just a misreable old drunk....

When I was an undergrad in at UC Davis, 30 beers at picnic day was normal - wake up a 6am to go to the parade, and drink pretty much straight until you pass out early the next morning. I've heard similar things about game days at major football schools

No way for me. I always switch to stronger stuff after a few beers cos I just don't like to drink it anymore then. (and its just too much... uhm.. liquid. Messes with my digestive system)
preferred poison:
Oh and btw: Bud Light shouldn't be called 'beer'. I think 'horsepiss' would be a more fitting name.

Interesting that ALL of the 20+-beers-a-day guys I have known drink light beer. And drink it all day.
I guess it is the only way to keep some element of control, although I am hard pressed to find a way that drinking at 8AM is anything close to controlled.

The only way you can have a constructive conversation with those guys is to catch them after the fist 6 pack when their system has leveled out and before the 15th beer when they pretty much go arround the bend. My old boss (restarunte owner then and now mostly unemployed handyman) you could talk to him from about noon untill 3:00pm. He usually started drinking at 7:30am and was reasonably coherant and civil from noon untill 3ish. Any time after 3:00pm and you were just wasteing your time talking to him.

realize that beer is food,
so no eating required, maybe a jack taco for dinner, thats it,
the ginny cans are 14-15 oz, so a lil tougher than the hamms,
hamms might say 4.7, but have you ever had a can from the 30 pack they sell?
seems more like 3.2 like the army i never served in,
yeah, when your skin starts to smell like kerosine, then thats when the brain is getting cooked,
because the body is never is rid of alchohol, so it's a 24/7 cook down.
a mind is a terrible thing to drink,
das boot!

Andre weighed 500 pounds.
119 beers in six hours would give him a BAC% 0.866
If a 170 pound man tried that his BAC% level would be 2.744!
So when a little feller says he can drink you under the table, and you're a big fella, who can drink, tell him to have the paramedics on stand-by!
A 170 pound man drinks a 6ix pack of 5% beer (not the stuff that I drink) in one hour, his BAC% is 0.143
12 pack in 1 hour BAC% 0.270
30 beers in 15 hours BAC% 0.463
This is with 5% beer, which I consider light beer. If you're drinking 8% and above the BAC% is significantly increased!
We can always have a test.

Go for what? Drinking 30?
I've done it many times. I would have to be somewhere where I wouldn't get arrested or be climbing or working the next day. The beer would have to be something around 5% ABV. Oh, I cringe at the thought of 30 Buttwipers or Coors. I know that there are 5% micro brews out there, but that would cost close to $50.00. Also around 6,000 calories. Someone else would have to buy them. I think of how sore my liver would be the next day. That's not a good thing either.
I guess I would do it again.
