Edge.....priceless! My son is now 25 also and I have the "beads" strung on a ribbon necklace he made in kindergarten. I'm away from home or I'd post a picture. Some things just endure...especially those things from our kids early years of arts and crafts.

Edge & Susan -- I've got you both beat by a few years. I still have and still use a... hmmm... trivet is probably the best word for it... that one of my sons made for me when he was five. He's 32 now.
Given that there was some wood drilling involved, I'm pretty sure his kindergarten teacher helped, but still...
