As a follow-up of Perswig's post

In just spring the goatman came over the bridge, a stout old man in overalls, long gray hair and beard.
We just passin thew, said the goatman...
...When Suttree came up the goatman turned as if he'd sensed him there and he smiled and nodded.
...Suttree took the cards. The cards were old but the goatman by the fire was not changed from him that posed upon them.
Aint no need to rush off.
What makes you think I was rushing off?
I don't know. But you welcome to stay.
I'd better get on.
The goatman watched him. He was trudging out across the field.
Say, called the goatman.
Suttree turned.
You know if you had a goat or two down here they'd be good company. You never would be lonely.
What makes you think I'm lonely? said Suttree.
The goatman smiled. I dont know, he said. I aint wrong.

THE STORY: Once upon a time, the biggest mountains were unconquerable. The sport of rock climbing evolved from the noble efforts of explorers and mountaineers of the past, who developed a myriad of techniques to ascend them.

Today, much of what is called "rock climbing" occurs indoors, on simulated plastic holds. As it turns out, vertical climbing is a natural ability of the human body, which makes great exercise, or even a competitive sport.

Packing for warm water diving. So easy. Although one time TSA tried to confiscate my regulator. Instead they settled for the teeny tiny Allen wrench I used to adjust some things on the regulator. Ok ... Was I really going to take the plane apart with a teeny tiny Allen wrench??? Another time the "odor detectors" locked onto me and I got pulled aside for "further inspection" evidently residual sun block on my dive mask gives off something that is similar to explosives!!!!
Go dive time!!!
