Only slide into first when the throw is up the line and a tag play might happen... or if Blantons fat ass is forcing Adrian to try a swipe tag or something.
Hate that play... the fingers and thumbs and other body wrecking things that can happen make it a really bad play. And slower than running through the bag. Just say NO
