Jesse is apparently stuck in the bus accident traffic jam, so I'll make it official: All routes from Devil's Bathtubs to The Rambler are temporarily closed to climbing. A fair amount of debris is falling down from the jungle, with a lot of it being funneled west along the ramp systems lower down. We will post updates as conditions change.

Cheers,

As of this morning the closure is still in effect. NPS Fire will be evaluating this morning, and I expect it will be opening later today or tomorrow. I will post again once the closure is lifted.

Ditto on the thanks!
We have plans to do the RA in a couple of weeks.
If I pull into the Anawahee Hotel parking lot in my van at 10pm the night before the climb will I be kicked out in the middle of the night?

I heard that PUD drives a Ford Explorer, black & white, with US government plates. Either that or Werner's old Falcon. Either should be easy to find in the Ahwahnee lot. :-)
