Not the next 2 or 20 but 200 years till the American culture is transferred to every village in Afghanistan.

i got up the day before this day,
so technically, today never happened, but
instead slid right into tomorrow.

now i done it.
i carelessly spent the day that connects
everything that ever was,
to everything that ever will be.

the future has been torn and disconnected from the past;
the most grand continuum, fractured.

now both bookends of infinity will
float away, further and further,
ever stretching the present
until its moment of inertia is exceeded,
and then

a new now is born.
again.

time, which quantifies passage will most likely
progress neither forward, nor backward
but instead will emit in all directions at once.

and finally the wind will unwind
and the hurricanes will hush,

and all things might transpire.

Yes, TPTB would like to be there for the next 200 years +, because of the rich natural resources: mineral wealth, oil, gas, and the most direct route for said pipelines. Funny how military bases just so happen to appear along these planned pipeline routes. Imagine that.

Let's also not forget the "poppy" industry. That is a major cash cow for financing "Black-ops."

Certainly, endless war is great for war profiteering. It's why we fight haven't you heard?

War and occupation, for stealing natural resources from other countries has become an industry, and we help finance it through our tax dollars.

Great. Just wonderful. (Sarcasm)

Only if Obama stays in office.
Especially if you and the greed mongers get their way.

I remember Obama saying we'd be out of Iraq in 2 months after he was elected. Its been 3 years and they've barely been able to get some of the troop out so far. It's obvious that what is needed in the future isn't the standard "Hope and Change", but "Extra Hope and extra Change".

I heard him say that Augyst. Here's one where you can determine what he says yourself.

Again, I heard him say 2 months. Next time I'll record it for ya.

He didn't say in that link that he could get them out in TWO MONTHS.

OK August, I heard him say 2 years, but in this 2008 AP story they say Candidate Obama said out in 16 months. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L3Sj2QTfKhM

This AP story says newly elected President Obama is saying we'll be out of Iraq within 18 months. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JG9ednEa92w

Like I said 9 years back, it took years. In fact, we have troops in Iraq currently.

Couchmaster! Wow! Your memory for ST libtards questioning your version of history is nothing short of awesome!

I can only be impressed by your pathological need to correct those people 7 years later. Please accept my congrats!
