RJ, the web master just upgraded the Price Finder. This feature allows you to search over 100,000 outdoor products to find the best price.

The new features:
Includes category menus to make it easy to look at a lot of items
Now includes a second tab to filter down to only "on-sale" items (defined as 5% off or more)
Includes the ability to sort by more options now
Includes categories for popular mens and womens apparel, based on top selling items

Please take a minute to click around and let us know how it can be improved. Is it easy to use? Did you find any bugs? Thanks in advance

Wow Chris.... Your Genius never fails to amaze me and your adoring fans but climbing gear like Oats......"If you want fresh quality oats then you pay the price". I buy alot of "stuff" from the reno STP but It ain't anything I'd trust my life too..... Approach shoes, Carhartt Clothes, rain coat for my sister.......If your going to denali spend the money on the best and survive a night out on a snow covered ledge...and come home, or.....Sorry I'm a little worked up.
Maybe I could buy some "Seconds" of Tomahawks, Heads...(Slightly mis Swaged, but it's ok)?

good job; I love it. of course I'm a cheap bastard. I'll ship stuff across the country to save $10.

Of course this sort of thing might well be the final death knell for local shops, but they're going down, anyway you look at it. The world's a changing.

Chris,

Not sure what you can do for this, but relevancy results on the search function need work.

e.g. enter the term 'haul bag' in the search

first result is this...

not really a haul bag

then look at the first 30 entries, how many are actually 'haul bags' in the traditional sense of the term?

essentially the user experience is not going to drive revenue if the relevancy isn't there.

hope that helps

I remain skeptical......Merchants are NOT to be trusted.
I'll find me own deals, thanks. No offense, Chris.

Overall, looks awesome. I would second Mungeclimber's observation about some of the sorting -- I noticed the same thing in looking at haul bags.

thanks for more feedback. I just did the "haul bag" test and here is what i got http://www.supertopo.com/pricefinder.php?on_sale=0&s=0&v=0&cur=0&ftr=haul+bag

which seemed like pretty relevant results. RJ might have fixed that last night with your suggestions.
