hey there all, say, this is for the "new" or "seldoms evers" that dare to make a small post, here or there...

some of these post/thread, too, may be only 2-3 POST filled, and never seen again, but each one did a special job for someone, somewhere, though you may not ever know it... :)

perhaps we never even hear from the "seldoms" again... BUT each and every little thread here, to ol' supertopo quilt is special in some way, due to the vast array of what the human-heart has to share, or what it has seen or experienced, as to the climb, learning experiecnes, travels, or life's trails and/or insight...

some folks add wonderful new info, by just one NEW sentence, never seen before, or/lead thus, lead folks into a whole "realm to climb"...

or--they may add a missing piece to something very much needed or
appreaciated, and they may never know it...

perhaps, even as to someone else's need to know of another climber,
that they had lost track of, or needed health info on...

here's to you all,for the new year...

an appreciation thread just for you!

some of you all, too, by daring to finally post,
go on to find some of your own "soon to be" BEST climbing buddies
here... or new answers to old questions, that others then fill you in on"

you never know, until you try...
supertopo would not be the same, if we all didn't take
time to join in!

so, as the year moves on:
once again, step on in, you are greatly appreaciated,
though many times folks just don't have time to
say so--it is very hard trying to keep-up on line... so:

i figured, this might be a neat way to do it...
god bless, happy new year, 2010...

WooHoo!!!!
Yeah, NeeBee has a cool point there, some folks pipe up, & then ship out, or some such.
They seem to offer a different perspective, very often.

Agreed - great appreciation for the new/lurker/seldom posters! :) It's like having new people admitted to the ward when they post. Heh heh. :)

Ah yes the pic with the dog. My name is just my first name the the first 4 letters of my Last name. So, Joe and Simonsen, aka JoeSimo.

Seems like I rarely post because every time I see a topic I might want to comment on I read through the replies and am often dumb founded by the responses to the point where I have lost my train of thought and could in no way ever top what was just said.

hey there all,say... once again, hope new folks will share their trips and trails... pets, skills, or insights...

dropline just reminded me that folks are really missed when you don't see them, and i have felt this too, but also:
folks can't be missed if we never get to know them... so...

god bless to you all, as you step in here, for the first few times, and may you do so, so much more...

hey there say, all...

i started this aways back, though not TOO far back...
for all those that may be shy, or new, and have not posted...

you ARE APPRECIATED and special...
YOUR reading eventually gives you the 'spark' to share...

sharing is speical, as we all learn from it...
and--find that there are friends and old aquaintences, and new ones,
that may all one day climb together, or fellowship over the
greatoutdoors and perhaps you may have the 'key' of insight to something, that another needs, AFTER you have read and found YOUR need...

god bless...
say, ps:

while LOOKING for this... i found a
'lurker appreciation' (which i nearly started just now, as, i could
NOT remember what i entitled MY thread as, :))

the lurker appreciation was started in 2006,
a bit before, or near abouts when i first jumped on in here...

i will bump it... in just a few secs...

:)

welcome abourd, all...
happy sailing on these waves of subjects and trip reports, and:

of course, the ol' supertopo-self-doctoring stuff, ;)

hey there say, just a bump... i can see now, that i started this a few years after the one for lurkers...

here is my bump message, from the lurkers-appreciation, that i just posted on:

say a bump, on the collections of appreciations, thread,
so thought i'd bump this too...

since these folks, often finally DO post, and share their
insight, as well...
