She modestly denies that she is a sweetheart, but we all know better.
So here's to you Lynne, you rock!

I admire you for the way you've dealt with the very difficult times since Dan's death and how you've connected with the larger community. Always positive, supportive and enthusiastic.
It is appreciated!

Never met you, but I gotta say you keep busting through whatever preconceptions I throw around your presence here. Surprising is good; keepin' it fresh.
Here's to the thresshold of your big adventure. If you can just keep it light. I can't, except sometimes in my head.

Yeah, she is a sweetheart, whatever she claims. I think Donini nailed it with "humanity". I have now met her on a number of occasions and I don't think we agree on any of the regular stuff. We do however seem to agree on the real things, just leave politics and religion out of it.

A long-awaited thread certainly. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to honor our members, forgive us. We were kinda busy running your credit report for the old school bus purchase. Good news of course, you are ON!!; Russ just radioed in from the Mussy Nebula and pulled some favors. Kelly-Moore and Benjamin Moore (not nebulae) have great colors by the way. Don’t mind the brush marks. Don’t pay any attention to Tarb as he will want gloss when both you and I know that FLAT is the way to go with this bus; it is kinda squarish.
Now Lynnie, you and I have to sit down and get real for just a moment here. You are going to have quite a bit on your plate, coming up, you know. First off, WHERE are you going to park the bus in the Valley? You are planning on a bit more than a week in Camp Four, Doll, although you and I both know it could be fabulous years! Will Ken Chickenskinner allow you to park it at his place in El Portal? Maybe you two can establish footings for it later on.
love you, ph.

hey there say, cheers for lynne.... :)
here's to you lynne and all that you do...
for family and friends, and those all around you...
for overcoming the hard times in life...
and doing so, without fight or strife...
for loving your fellow man, woman and child...
and for stepping out into the world so wild...
and seeing what new places you need to sail off to...
and for doing it with faith and grace, and hopefully a few bucks, left from work, for you...
thanks for being a neat supertopo light to all...
as to showing good friendship, through winter, summer, spring and fall...
:)
god bless and say, have fun at facelift... and hugs some trees for me... i love the smell of the pine trees...
and, watch a few birds, and some flowers, and say hi to folks, for me, too.... :)
*oh, yeah----but ONLY clean up YOUR share (not mine)---sure don't want to take TOO much advantage of your facelift trip....

She seems O.K. to me, but I haven't met her yet. I'll make up my mind then. Word has it that she loves Jesus. How bad could that be? I know she likes a drink now and then. I do too. She still can't spell easy words like "you". What does that mean? Is their some disorder or syndrome I don't know about? She seems to be on some kind of spiritual path and that is a good thing in my book.
Peace Lynne. Wayno

Whoa, pretty impressive! I have friends.....Makes me cry a bit. I love each of you even those not yet met in the real.
Ebonics are fun for me. Sorry if it bothers any of you. Life must have fun in it or it's really not worth the breath it takes.
Haven't been on ST much lately. Been with my man jesus trying to figure some stuff out.
Anyway, Each of your posts went straight to my heart, seriously. Came at a time when the heart needed some friend words. Thanks and Peace, Lynne

What I appreciate about Lynne:
She means well and tends to be nice.
She smells good so must shower regularly.
She doesn't backseat drive her Designated Driver.
She doesn't puke in the backseat while getting that ride either.
She makes a killer pear and salsa quesadillo.
She loves the baby jesus and doesn't call us names if we don't.
She got her braces off and her teeth look great.
She has her heart in the right place.
But - I'm still not sure about the "Yo, mofo, I be a white bread gansta momma from South Central Diego" rap?

I hope things aren't too bad, Lynne. You could e-mail your friends for some other thoughts if you don't want to share here.
You're too caring and nice to be going things alone. You'll have to deal with problems yourself but sometimes sharing with others lightens the load.
Hang in there, Lynne, John's anxious to see you at the Lift and my wife will like meeting you finally.
God bless ya!

The traditional butt shot and I'm not even climbing. However, I Was in front of the Climbing Shop. Hehehehe! Awwww, Walleye, and everyone, kind words.
I just wonder what TM is saying behind his hand. Probably, "there's that woman that keeps stalking me for a story for the Tuolumne Climber book."
Off to an appointment, but took a few minutes to read the last couple pages. I can only say my life has been richer in So Many ways because of the campfire and all the INCREDIBLE friends I've made here.
