From ASCA Website:

Mike is a dedicated and tireless climber, a generous spirit, and a man with unflagging positive energy. One gets psyched just being in his presence.
His amazing sense of humor and keen observation are unrivaled. He also has given large amounts of his time and energy back to the climbing community.

It's a pleasure and an honor to be your friend, Mike!

The dude is always stoked, and always sending. And I still have the El Cap 3-D cutout/popup thing he designed sitting on my desk.

Mike and his Wife are GREAT people!!!
I really enjoyed talking with them at the JTSF.
I am still waiting for them to get up here,
so I can take them for a PICNIC
at Picnic Rock.

Mike; You still have my number.

Hooray for Mike. and his pet weasel. (Or is he her pet?) Both are genuinely nice, friendly people who are fun to hang out with. Keep charging hard(ly), man!

werd, worthy rebump thread

first time I see Mike this year, he wouldn't shake my hand.

Want to know why?

The guy had a broom in one hand, and trash in another and was cleaning the Stonehouse up.

Mike is my brother from another mother! He ALWAYS has the phsyce for getting out and DOING. He is genorous and giving. He makes me laugh with his constant wit. He has a super-duper Weasle Pup(that is also a hard charger!) who is his best friend and wife. A better climbing partner/friend you will not find. Plus, he plays a mean guitar and loves music with a 'CRUNCH'.

Mike Ousley: The Godfather of big wall climbing.

Couple years ago before I even knew Mike, I needed a haul line ASAP and was hunting around for one.

Mike emails me telling me he has an extra rope I can HAVE. What a bro!

His words have inspired me to push myself harder. Feel lucky to know thw guy, always bringing stoke and super humble while being a badass climber. Everyone is always excited to have Mike around. Anytime I tell my friends that Mike will be around the response is always, "Mike will be there??!! Oh, hell, yea!! His frienship is priceless.

Super climbing partner and super friend. Here's to you Mike!

Cheers, bro!

I met Mike a few years ago at Nature's Flagstaff Sushifest. I was immediately stoked on his kindness. Little would I know that I would be hanging out with him again out here in H.B. sharing great conversation from wall climbing to Family. Thanks for being a great amigo...
