Does anybody know if the spring at the base of halfdome is running?

It varies from year-to-year. If no one who has been there recently answers, I wouldn't count on it. I was there in late August in a dry year and there was no water whatsoever. I was there in September in a not-so-dry year (but not super wet, either) and there was, though in a different location from its usual location.

We tanked up there last Friday (9 11 2009)
Others had been using it that day also. Was still full.
