"FREE PORK FOR EVERYONE!!!"

Skip, are you referring to the future administration, or to the record-setting government-expanding budget-busting deficit-building Bush II administration, or it's role model, the Reagan administration?

All of this Faux-news media characterization of political parties as compared to the realities gets so confusing sometimes...

Edit: (11:10) Waiting for answer....
(11:14) Still waiting....
(11:21) Still waiting....
(11:34) waiting....
(11:48) No response. This message has been in the queue too long- we've given up trying. Sorry it didn't work out.

Well, what ever he chooses to do, it better work out well or we're all into the doo doo. My view is the so called experts don't really understand how to get out of this crisis. This is all new ground historically so there's a lot of guessing going on with a pretense that they have things in hand. I wish we had Lincoln or Harry Truman around for some guidance.

Of course they know how to get us out of the hole.
PRINT MORE MONEY!! (You have to say it like Mr. Krabs)

Funny how liberals always bring up the past instead of working on the now. I've heard that Obama is planning on reforming the social security system even though he accused whats his name of wanting to do the very same thing during the campaign. Where did I hear it? Out of Obama's mouth himself.

Since the election I've seen Obama making a very intelligent move to the center. I hope he can throw off the reigns of some very powerful dems who want to steer him. What he gets done will be dependent on what happens over the next 8 years and what the house will allow him to do. All he can do is suggest or veto. He can't save us anyway. Until people wake up and stop thinking they have elected the next savior we're doomed. The worst hasn't happened yet. We have to take responsibility for this mess and start looking for real answers. Stop printing money and stop giving it away. My parents always told me money didn't grow on trees but I don't think anyone ever told those rich bureaucrats in DC, Obama included.

Edit: Woody I was thinking Teddy Roosevelt the other day but I don't think people today would tollerate him.

The "love fest" hasn't started LEB. It begins on the 20th. People are willing to do ANYTHING to get tickets no matter how immoral. I made a comment that it was a shame the cost of the ticket wasn't going toward paying for the event and my Obama voting friends said it was ok because he was using the millions of dollars he had LEFT OVER from the campaign. To this I added that Obama's campaign was the most costly in history. Their response was to get starry eyed and full of euphoria as they related to me the story of all the millions of poor people who came forward and gave their 10 dollars to support the cause and thats where all the money came from. Ralph! I always listen to these stories about the same way weschrist would listen to an evangelist but I never say anything. People believe what they will. Politics is Politics.

The love fest clearly started months or more ago. Of course it was the most costly campaign in history, it costs a lot of money to convince a majority of people that "this government administration fukked it all up, but this one will fix it". How can you hypocrites put so much faith in one man in a giant broken machine? And suuuuure, his campaign money came from people giving him $10. What happened to all of the smoke he was blowing up our ass about "change"? What change? One hundred fifty million (minimum) for the inauguration? Three to four times the cost of Bushs' last one. Youre right, I am sorry that is change. Biden as VP? Are you kidding me? Thats change? Leon Panetta? His Treasury Sec. nominee (the guy in charge of the IRS), employing illegals and $34000 in unpaid taxes? That is just a 'mistake' though right? Thats change? Hate to tell you, but it is going to be very much the same, except worse. Fire up the excuse machine!

You seem to have forgotten to answer the question I posed to you in the above thread(for specific examples of promises Obama has made that you expect he won't be able to fulfill).

While you didn't ...specifically promise....to answer it, you most certainly did imply you would.

And now, here you are, with more of the same, on another thread.

The first paragraph of the article you referenced ...specifically...cites two programs he intends to address; Social Security and Medicaire.

Why not wait and see what his ideas are after he is in office? Are you that uncomfortable with the current state of affairs that you simply cannot be here now?

And, yes - I am still waiting for an answer to my query about examples. You can simply admit that you just wrote that without thinking, and that you do not actually know of any specific examples, and do not care to take the time to research for one.

If that is the case.

Please reread my answer to you and you will see that I DID, in fact, post two examples of concern wherein I felt Obama would not readily fulfill promises made. Not even so much would not want to do so but actually (given the realities) could not do so. Please reread my comments and if you are still unclear, copy and paste it here and we can dissect the posting together to determine whether your query was, indeed, answered.

Obviously, since you did not see the two examples I cited..."

I see 3 posts in that thread, after I confirmed having read/answered your email, and none are from you. Would you be so kind to cut and paste your response?

skipt,
No need to be jealous. I'll pay attention to you!

Thank you for all the wonderful insights you provide.
That was an excellent response you gave to apogee's question. Well thought out, and well reasoned.

You have presented a clear and compelling case on Republican economics, and why they are so much better than what that black man is considering.

Sorry. I made the mistake of using sarcasm, which I know is confusing to you people.

Why is it OK for a one guy to do something, but it's NOT OK for another guy to do the same thing?

As near as I can tell, the main difference here is that one guy is white, and the other guy is black. So naturally I assumed you were a racist, and I was just trying to word my post with phrases you would understand.

Obama's real job per the secret Bilderburg agreement (just after they showed him the movie of JFK getting offed)is to ask the American public to take a 50% reduction in their standard of living, across the board (except for the hyper-elites who have already offshored their assets - {remember Halliburton moved to Dubai after fleecing the Gov for Billions}).

And who could be better able to do the job. All the people who are going to get screwed are starting out on his side. We'll see how long he can talk the people out of going into the streets with torches and pitchforks, when 300 million Americans realize that they are going to be living in forced poverty once the elites run off with the $3 trillion (or whatever) bail out and decades of profiteering even as the US is stripped of all tangible productive capacity.

Our great great grandchildren are still going to be paying off this one - if there are any great great grandchildren.

"The sheeple are ka-lue-less as to what's in store for us/U.S."

How we got here is evidence that people are indeed sheep.

People negatively speculating, without a clue as to what is really going to happen, is evidence that we want to remain sheep.
