How secure is the suitcase? Is it locked? Will it stay locked, or will the department of homeland insecurity rummage in it? Do the trains have problems with lost, stolen, and mangled luggage?

Also relevant: cost and inconvenience of replacing computer, risk of losing valuable or personal files, cost of insurance.

It sounds like your computer would be safe with Russ. Maybe too safe.
