After talking to Ric's Dad, it appears that Ric is an experienced climber, with a first ascent in Nepal and ascents on Shasta, Denali and such.

Also, two very experienced teams crossed the ridge between Goode and Trapazoid Peak. The describe hairy and loose fourth and fifth class terrain.

My assignment yesterday, was the north ridge of Trapazoid. It was fairly mellow third class, but not a logical descent route so he likely would not have gone that way. He also intended to cross to Mt. Johnson so again, why take the Trapazoid ridge. Searchers are checking a lot of spots right now.

We found no positive sign. Some old foot prints appeared to be from the locals who climbed on the ridge a few weeks ago.

Searchers are in the field again today, but no report so far. Hopefully the search will continue a for a few more days, but today is day five.

Put this fellow climber in your positive thoughts.
