Off to a bad start already.

I heard today from New Zealand that a good friend of mine died yesterday while guiding on Mt Cook, when his ice tools blew/and or ice collapsed around him and he fell 60m in the summit rocks on Mt Cook.

Rest in peace Anton.

Hey John, sorry to hear that. Great friends are hard to replace. It looks like Anton lived his dream and that is worthy of celebration. His spirit will live on a long time.

Hello John,

Sorry to hear about your friend, my condolences to you and his family.

Do you know many Kiwi climbers? I would like to find John Dale on the south island.
