We start off by getting lost, I do the retreat of shame on the OW, and freak out on the descent. All in a days work!

Great trip report and photos, Spy. I especially liked the line:

good job spyork, I love that crack... been up there a few times with various partners and turned back at various locations, but always got that pitch in.

The approach is classic Yosemite "class 4," I think it's always slimey, at least the times I've done it. Thanks for the report.

Good job, nice report too.
Regarding the choices on the 3rd pitch, the FA guys said to
take the worse crack when possible.

Great TR, that inspired me to drag a couple of unsuspecting partners up Absolutely Free. It was a great day. Michael's Ledge is absolutely packed with Harlequin Lupines. Thanks!
