Dr. Taco is concerned for you, A. Crowley.

You seem to constantly need a bogeyman in your life. This indicates a social disorder that is only treatable one way.

Lobotomy. Call me to set up an appointment. I have the tools. And BTW, Dr. Taco is not Donny.

and by tools, he means a ball-peen hammer and an ice cream cone.

Well sh#t damn, AC! I must have missed this one. Thanks for bumping it back to the front page in a weak attempt at avoiding nature's questions.

For what it is worth, I spoke with Matthew last weekend regarding the little missunderstanding we had in regards with the email exchange. I feel bad. I feel bad as I realized in that 45 minute conversation I really didn't understand what had happened nor did/do I realize where AC is coming from. I do now.

Now, Andy, I'm trying to grasp you and where you are coming from. I don't. Perhaps I am missing something but in all these years of posting to superdorko I have never seen you post anything climbing related nor have I seen you post anything that is less than derogotory (sp?). Maybe I am drunk and just missed those items to which I seek. If that is the case please provide a URL that might change my observations.

AC will be at my sushi bar for the Facelift and I very much look forward to the encounter. Will you be there? That would be cool.

Take care,

Doug

I appreciate the appreciation. Sorry I haven’t been playing too much on Supertopo recently. I went on vacation, and I’ve been working quite a bit since then. Crowley, I know you don’t understand what “work” is, and because of that you don’t really understand what it means to “take a vacation”, so perhaps you could get one of your non-trustfund friends to explain it to you.

But I glanced at a few threads last night, and I’m happy to see there are plenty of goons keeping it real in my absence. The Piton Ron/Oli fiasco seems entertaining, and the guy that lost his gear at the base of Half Dome is unfortunate, but pure comedy at the same time. It sounds like it was left in a blue barrel, hanging from a tree! I may have to revise my 10 Commandments of Supertopo just for him.

The real #9:
When doing something in poor style and leaving a bunch of sh#t lying around in a wilderness area, thou shalt not complain when said sh#t turns up missing.

Or:

9.) Just because you are on SAR doesn’t make you exempt from the rules, common sense, or common courtesy.

Nature, most of your observations are correct. I am, for the most part, nothing more than an as#@&%e. But I do occasionally post something other than slander. And, yes, sometimes it is even climbing related!
Most of that happens when I forget to log in under my real screen name.

So I will not be attending the sushi party because I am simply an anonymous internet alias. But there is a chance that my OTHER personality may, or may not, be there. If he shows up, he promises to behave.

If you promise to behave than we don't want you there. You wouldn't fit in!!!

Jackasses only are welcome. What else would Blue Dog have to ride, afterall?

Hey crowley, did you hear they may be selling Iraqi goods at WalMart this year. Gotta be better than the chinese crap, no?

I posted it in the 'reports from Iraq' thread. It wasn't a war for oil, it was a war for high-quality Iraqi leather products. Duh, even I knew that.
