How many times have you had your stash out on the picnic table when Mr.Ranger comes walking up with some LE bullsh#t? I'm glad they have bad eyes and a poor smelling ability. Joints rule for this reason, no hardware to get you busted.

Theres 420 climbs in J-Tree I didn't climb.

i've been thinking about this for the last few days. it does seem like every climber i know is a pot head. is that pretty much the truth, or am i just hanging out in a bad neighborhood. i remember the first day i went climbing, the people i was with pointed out some climbers smoking and told me how dangerous they were. "we better leave". thank god i wasn't impressionable. anyone here ever taken marinol, the perscription pot?

LOL...I can't remember a climbing session, no matter who I was with or where I was at (at least in California) where it wasn't part and parcel with cragging. When we did Electric Ladyland back way back when, we had a mini bong rigged with a tie off and would zipline it between hanging bivy hammocks.

you can hand feed me beers.

I smoked my way up Lunar Eclipse. Sort of sad as pieces of the trip are missing. Good thing we brought an extra blank tape and recorded the good moments. In fact, I had enough for 10 joints a day even after I dropped a quarter oz (it was in a green bag with a tooth brush ca. 1994). If any one found it there is a reward to this day. Boy did I miss that toothbrush.

well here are a few stories that should make you laugh. once i had 3-4 joints up at tahquitz before an easy push up traitor horn, but when we did the approach up to the start of the climb, i had smoked so much - i couldnt remember how to tie a figure 8. story 2: brought a glass bong to j-tree, my buddy who we'll call "drool boy" for homeland security purposes hadnt climbed in months and thought he could solo the swift....he survived, but the near death experience changed him, he knew he would have to change his ways or face death. Now he just smokes all day and has quit climbing.

An amazing post TW#T, AMAZING...I too have some funny stories like these, but, I can't seem to remember them, oh well, it happens to the best of us.

Smoking doobs and climbing go hand in hand, who doesn't want to blaze up on the summit of a cathedral spire, or at the base of sail away followed by a nice appetizer of jolly spray, can't wait to go to j-tree and generate some more stories

Ahhh! Dingus and Dave,
You guys are killin' me! For being conniseurs of the sacred herb you are not very well versed on your Ska history. Smoke Two Joints wasn't written by Bob Marley or Sublime. It was originally written and performed by the Toyes! Sheesh. I'm gonna have to go smoke two joints for the both of you two knuckleheads.
