Thanks to the man giving us vicarious thrills, pitch by pitch, on the big stone. And it's great to catch up in person and have him show you who's where and doing what.

Cheers,

I like Ansel...

Yet... What really catches my attention is the water bottle hanging from your tripod.
Now that is something I really appreciate.

Weight to combat the wind and keep the rig stable. When I'm in the field, I use my photo backpack for the same reason.

Roy,

Whereabouts are you from in NZ. I used to live in Twizel.

Looks maybe like an updated van as well, perhaps for the female company?

Thanks for the photos and updates.

How can you stand those poor working conditions.

Tom's the MAN! I've got a couple of photos of him from years past that I'll try to dig up this evening.

Hell yeah!

Killer photos and reports.

I hope one of these days when I'm in the meadows I get a chance to meet him.

Hey

I've seen this man. He has special chair you sit in.

After you get out of chair, special things happen .....

Yo, Yo, and Yo! Always free slides for the soloist, always honest beta and good laughs, and now the El Cap report. Cheers to a man that simply loves the valley.

The next cold sixer is on me.

Thought I had a few more, but this is the best I could find. Tom at the bridge smoking a stogie -- spring of '04.
