Nice pics. It bring me back to when I lived out there. Isn't "Gunsight notch" up in that area?

Looked like some good climbing.

I remember climbing further along the trail at a place called the Far Side. Great views and nice rock...somewhat reminiscent of Clark Canyon.

Watch for poison oak for sure!

i don't know about gunsight notch. i've discovered chris summit's self-published guidebook "wine country rocks" & have just ordered it, certainly there is more up there than is covered in the Black, including table rock, which evidently is what that last shot is.

yeah, we didn't make it as far as the far side this trip, but that's supposed to be nice, as is the bear. we'll be back!

I've never been out to Table Rock but there is a page with a pic and one route detailed here:
http://www.climbingsonomacounty.homestead.com/East.html
There was a place that people on rockclimbing.com were talking about that was referred to as DTSA a few years ago:
http://www.rockclimbing.com/routes/North_America/United_States/California/Sacramento_Area/DTSA/
I always guessed that might be table rock.
