After reading tales of great daring, routes established in EB's I by became sentimental and pulled out my old pair of EB's. I couldnt even come close to pulling them on, granted I was about 13 at the time but heck. Okay, maybe my old Fires, nope, not even close. Alright, how bout the pair of Sportiva Taos I bought at the Ed Bannister's shop? I got them on but could get them off fast enough they hurt so bad.
I know your feet grow with age but this little trip down memory lane was depressing and painful.

Unless I miss my guess Michael Phelps, with his flippers, would barely be able to do steep 5.6. On mantels, OW, or overhangs, however, he might be out of sight.
Enjoy it while you've got it.

Tami,
My feet rock, except for the one grossly disfigured toenail.

Feet will generally stretch out over time for everyone. This is accelerated by inadequate support and especially for hyperpronators. Another common factor is that women produce a hormone called relaxin when pregnant in order to allow the ligaments to become more pliable and let baby squirt out easier. Many of my pregnant patients find swelling of the feet and an inabilty to lace shoes during the later stages and then simply wear flip flops, Tevas and bunny slippers so that the overal process is much more noticable later on.
Moral: Even pregnant women should wear supportive shoes, even if they are just hanging around the house.
Now if I could just convince all my elderly ladies that just because you have 50 pair of size 6AAAA dress shoes at home doesn't mean that they fit.
