When I was hauling loads there was a girl dangling out on the swing with her hair stuck in her gri-gri. It looked really uncomfortable. Someone had already run to get a knife so she could cut her herself free...

I did it last fall and one of the guys we were with got his beard stuck in the grigri. ripped a patch the size of a penny right off his face. It was great!

hey there john, say, you reminded me of the post about why the climbers all wore the bandana headscarfs---to keep the hair out of the gri-gri...

seems folks like me just thought of it as a "keep the hair back" due to winds-type-stuff... or for sweat reasons, for others...
