My wife and I are starting an extended vacation (months with no set return date) today. Flying off to Vietnam and Southeast Asia. Not sure how we are going to return, maybe Africa. I haven't been able to do anything like this since the late seventies. Will try and keep the taco informed along the way.....

I think my body is immune....I go to India on a regular basis. I always take the malaria pills but nothing else. If I havent died yet I don't worry about it.....Having said that the wife will need shots, first trip to Asia.

Retiring at 53?! I'm 58 -- can I start now?

I hope you have a great time. It sounds like your mental health is quite robust to me.
