I'm not the Expert, but I figure that all these different versions of God are clamoring for marketshare.
I can only laugh that both Judaism and Islam hate the flesh of pigs, probably because it doesn't season/age as well as lamb or beef. In the old days, before refrigerators, it made sense. But, now? I kinda like pork, cooked really slow, in the manner popularized by the African Americans, with a good sauce.
And a further laugh, for me, is that if the Judaic Sabbath, the day of rest, is Saturday, and, naturally, a later-decreed Islamic edict is for a better/earlier day of rest, Friday, then there is more to be gained.
For me?
I am tri-religious with three days of rest: Islamic Friday, Judaic Saturday and Christian Sunday.
I can only hope that some other religion will rise up and declare providence, so that I can become tetra-religious, and also take Thursday/Tuesday off as another day of rest.
