As many of you know, Angus was leading Ant Hill in Eldorado Canyon when he
apparently got off-route and took a 50' fall. He was knocked unconscious,
but not injured fatally. However, a hex on his rack freakishly snagged against
a tiny flake in a flaring crack, and caused the rack sling to be pulled up tight around
Angus' neck, cutting off the blood supply to his brain.

Angus' fiancee Cindy sent me this photo to post, which was given to her by the
local sheriff dept. It was a scan made from a print on plain paper -- hence
is not the best quality. I converted it to black and white, which improved it significantly.

Cindy made a very detailed post about the accident on RC.com,
and I recommend that you read it. A larger version of the pic follows her post.

James Lucas was incredibly lucky; Angus McInnes was incredibly unlucky.
