Steve Grossman got me fired up to look through some of my old climbing mags with all the great history he has been posting up. So here's my first attempt at it. Not too sure about scanning for posting yet, but here goes nothing!

That is a great read. Tim Auger, was the safety officer in Banff National Park for many years. I think he is now retired. He gave us some very helpful beta on Polar Circus several years ago, and I was very impressed with his friendliness and being positive about our objective. Some rangers seem more interested in scaring climbers away from their objectives, somehow assuming they must be incompetent fools. Not Tim.
