Climbing at San Ysidro today we ran into bees on the gully on the left side about halfway up. We then tried approaching via the gully up the middle and as we neared the top of Applied Magnetics, off to the left side, we ran in to them again. We just backed off and they didn't bother us but it's easy to come up on them unawares.
