Interesting. Couldn't sleep last night and watched a program titled "The US versus John Lennon".
It was a bit eye opening. I was young at the time and didn't pay much attention to world events back then. Knew the Nam war was wrong, but didn't realize Lennon's role in changing the tide and how much the Nixon/J. Edgar Hoover admins went after him.

Great doc John. Lennon was and will be one of those I look up to. Spoke his mind, stood up for what he believed in and practiced what he preached.

Ron- another thing I came away with from watching the documentary was just how connected John and Yoko were. People like to bash Yoko. Seems to me she completed him.
She gave him the support to stand his ground.

ThinkYoko also gave John a lot of inspiration for some of his music. They were a solid couple.

I couldn't sleep well last night so I had two Flav gummy strips, which saw me off to dreamland. You might try 'em Johntp.
Did John ever lie awake thinking of Yoko and have to get up and write a song? I'd like to think that.
For all of her lack of talent and her shrieky voice and other oddities, she did the man right.

I think you mistake being avant garde with being tone deaf.

I grew up IN in the movement, I quit a job that was lumber related due to my love of nature. I couldn’t live with that contradiction. Just saying that Yoko AND John did their thing and may not have effcted you good or bad, but it effected a lot of people. They still sell albums and art.

First time i saw it. It is a well produced documentary and exposes the Nixon/Hoover crowd for the bastards they were and the bullshit that got us into Nam.

What. No one's gonna bring up the "lone nut theory"? Many people still to this day believe Lennon was offed. By the CIA. Well verified, he was on a list of possible traitors with potential to incite large numbers of people in agendas against the government. Lennon himself thought his days were numbered and a hit on him was not far off.

Yeah. I'm not a conspiracy person, but the whole Hinkley thing seems bogus.
In the documentary both Yoko and John said their lives were in danger and if one was offed it would not be an accident.
