It's been my practice to add "supertopo" to Google Image searches.

Let me illustrate.

I type in the GI search box: "Chuck Ostin supertopo".

The image which came up first:

Tap the image and visit the page:

I do this all day long but would rather be climbing.

This thread expains why I keep participating in SuperTopo!

I really appreciate the occasional threads that contain:

Wonderful and priceless climbing history, and insider thoughts from the people who created that history.

Thank you for taking the time to post here!

Well & Good, my feisty friend. Two can play.
"zBrown supertopo"/ second row

Your move, mate. You are white, remember, grampa.

The trick be to find threads, not simply pix, though this is the Taco and so total freeformity may ensue on this one.

i don't know how it happened, but a windows "tile" appeared on my desktop that is mapped to the ST forum dialed into 30 thread listings way back in '07.

one could substitute that 67830 number with other numbers such that it would drop you into pages of 30 thread titles from a section of the wayback machine that number points to and a tile could be created for each on the oldie list spot you want to drop into.

the beauty part is that each time a brand new thread appears on the front page, or one is bumped up from a point deeper down the list than the window your tile is mapped to it, changes than the threads listed just like it changes the listings on page two.

so this gives you an effortless way to start each session back in the archives before surrendering to the current dross afloat on page one.

if anyone understands this, could they add some clarity, i'm just a bumbly when it comes to this stuff

Chuck Ostin Mountain Project yielded:

DMT is far too concerned with the present and worried about the future, IMO, to do justice to historical archives.

I'm just a nosy burrowing rodent driven by insatiable curiosity.

We each have our natures and must be true to them
in the interest of the public and that of keeping it real.

This has been a purple people's public service announcement by your humble public servant.
