Went riding at Beacon Hill for the first time and saw the rock at the parking area and noticed some hangers. Thinking it might be fun to hit the trails and do a bit of climbing before heading home

Any feedback?

If you're talking about Post Falls yes it's excellent in an old school way. Short steep pumpy climbs with tricky moves.

Arne- It's in Spokane before you hit the mall in Spokane Valley(heading towards Post Falls) but on the other side of the river from 90.

Years ago. Jacked my neck leading Strawberry Jam. Tons and tons of graffiti...other than that, awesome place.

Oh, OK, guess I never stopped in there, heard about it. Sounds pretty ghetto!

My wife and I used to live just down the road. A ton of fun climbs. Yes, the graffiti and broken beer bottle may detract but the climbing is really fun. On the back side is one of my favorite 10d in the world "Don Quixote".

Minnehaha & Post Falls are two different places.

Minnehaha: https://www.mountainproject.com/v/main-wall/109486845

Post Falls: Is Q'Millin Park - https://www.mountainproject.com/v/qemilin-park/105838015

See MountainProject.com for all the oddball climbing areas around Spokane.

I've not climbed at Post Falls but surveyed it and it looks very fun. Old granite from a very long time ago. It may be the best in the area.

I grew up in that neighborhood which is a major reason why I moved to SoCal and will never move back.

Dihedral is a classic 5.9,
Some ok routes there for an afternoon or so.

My 88 year old grandfather watched me climb there and enjoyed it.
It's a 50 yard approach.

Probably not a destination area though.
Post falls and rocks of Sharon are better!

I've climbed there. It's a city crag and like Stony Point it's not the climbing, it's the location.

Q'emiln Park right in town by the river is definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. I had a good time there two days in late July. It was hot, but you can find shade, and there's the river for afterwards. Not a destination crag, but well worth hitting for a few hours at least.

Yep. It's an urban crag for sure--but still fun. I put up a few routes/boulder problems there in the late 80's. Romancing the Stone (with Jim Purdy) was probably the best of those...

Post Falls is nicer IMO and a fun labyrinth of rock walls to find the one you like and quiet, unlike Minnehaha which you will hear the sounds of guns going off across the river, nontheless I would go back if in the area.
Both have fun climbs.
