When I got the call the other morning that he'd had an accident, I assumed that it was while out doing one of the crazy hard new mixed things he's always developing that nobody outside of the Adirondacks ever hears about or knows about. Nope, out guiding. I felt devastated, and it only got worse when the next text I got was that they were subsequently airlifting him to Burlington.
Good news is that it looks like he's going to recover just fine. He makes his living as an artist, climbing and fly fishing guide, which we all know can be pretty tenuous income, and we've no way of knowing how long he's going to be out of work. Any little bit helps!

what i undersdtand is that he has a Tramatic brain injury and will not be able to work for a long time. perhaps a year?
